Privacy policy
What is collected when you use this site, and what is not.
What we collect
Server and CDN logs record IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp. These are used for security, abuse prevention and aggregate traffic measurement.
A view counter records that a video was watched. It is not tied to an identity: the count is stored per video, and only signed-in viewers have that view added to their own watch history.
Preference cookies store playback settings (volume, quality, resume position) in your browser. These never leave your device.
If you accept the analytics prompt, Google Analytics records an anonymised visit: which page, where you came from, and roughly where in the world you are. It is not linked to an account, and we never see your name or email through it.
What we do not collect
No account, email address, name or payment details are required to watch. If you create an account, we store the email address and password hash described under Retention. Outside of analytics — which you are asked about first — nothing else is collected from viewers.
Third parties
Cloudflare (CDN, WAF and edge compute) — https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/. Requests to this site pass through it, so it sees IP addresses and request metadata.
Our own server, which we operate directly: the database, the REST API in front of it, and the service that streams video. Access logs there are kept briefly for security and abuse handling.
Telegram, which stores the video files we serve. Viewers never connect to Telegram for playback — our own server streams the bytes — so it does not see viewer IP addresses.
Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-WKYBVW416B) — https://policies.google.com/privacy — counts visits and tells us which pages and referrers are used. It is the only analytics vendor on the site, and it is not loaded at all until you accept the analytics prompt. When it runs, Google receives the page you are on, your referring URL, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and your device and browser type. Google may set its own cookies on top of ours, and its handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy.
No advertising network and no data broker is in use on this site. If either is added, it will be named here before it goes live.
Cookies and consent
Strictly necessary cookies are set without asking, because the site cannot work without them: a session cookie when you sign in, and a preference cookie that holds playback settings such as volume and resume position.
Analytics cookies are not. Google Analytics sets the `_ga` and `_ga_<container>` first-party cookies, which distinguish one browser from another and expire after two years. These load only after you press Accept on the analytics prompt. If you press Decline — or simply never answer — no request is made to Google and no analytics cookie is written.
Your answer is stored in your browser's local storage under the key `dp_consent`, not in a cookie, and it is never sent to us. The Manage cookies button in the footer clears it and asks again, and clearing site data in your browser does the same. Because the choice is made before anything loads, visitors in the EEA and UK get the prior opt-in the ePrivacy Directive requires, and California residents get an equivalent opt-out; we do not sell personal information either way.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Write to the contact address with “data request” in the subject line; we respond within 30 days, extendable by a further 30 where a request is complex. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of under the CCPA/CPRA “sale” definition.
Retention
Server and CDN request logs are retained for 7 days, then deleted. They exist to detect abuse and to keep the service available; they are not used for profiling.
Account data — an email address and a password hash — is kept until you delete the account. Watch history and likes are kept until you remove them.
Analytics data is held by Google for the retention period configured on its side, currently 14 months, and is then deleted. We keep only aggregate reports, which contain no individual visitor.
Nothing here is sold or shared with a third party for marketing.
